Brighton Dominates Chelsea in a One-Sided Match
Brighton & Hove Albion secured a convincing 3-0 home victory over Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon. Leandro Trossard was the star of the show for the Seagulls, scoring twice in the first half.
The Belgian midfielder opened the scoring in the 27th minute with a clinical finish into the bottom corner. He doubled his tally just 19 minutes later, heading home a cross from Marc Cucurella.
Chelsea failed to create any real chances in the first half and were punished again in the 75th minute. Ben White scored from close range after a scramble in the Chelsea penalty area.
The result means that Brighton move up to sixth place in the Premier League table, while Chelsea remain 10th.
